Humor is a powerful way to explore uncomfortable topics. As a Chinese-American and Japanese-Jewish writing team, we wrote this self-implicating, tongue in cheek comedy piece—about a white woman who wishes she could live the glamorous and interesting life of a POC—to spark new conversations about the strange, awkward, unspoken rules of race and identity.
